Heart Felt Grief Thoughts

February 9th 2013

Well for those of you who still have a link to us here, you will be surprised and hopefully thrilled to find that I am again saying Hello to you all.

Much has happened since last I spoke to you and well how the time goes. We are well settled into New Plymouth now and I must say it feels like home now and I am also happy to say that I figure I have two homes that make me smile.

I still love Wellington and when I visit there it is like slipping my hand into a very comfortable glove.  I know the city and how it works so just fit in again.  In fact we were there last weekend and sat twice on our Memorial seat for Craig.  It has been shifted to the opposite side of the path and now looks out at the plot that used to be directly behind it, so a nice view over the very colourful gardens now.  We thought Craig seemed please with the change of view too.

When I went to visit just after the winter, I took a brush and some water to wash the plaque as it had become a little green from the winter moisture.  This I did with loving care and really cherished again the words that are written there – his own words.

“I am work in progress. Like the grand master artist my palette is filled with all the right colours. Now learning to mix the paints and add texture, shade and form. This the picture of life takes shape and meaning!”   Beautiful that!!!!

Take care and Blessings to you all.
